Perfect for volume production and available now, WELLS-CTI's new programming socket accommodates CSP and fBGA packages and accepts both lead-free and eutectic solder balls.
780 Series programming sockets increase efficiencies by utilizing low resistance contacts; high performance, high temperature materials; pre-loaded spring contact probes and compression mount technology. Customer outputs will benefit from less solder transfer and contamination, easy to replace and low risk socket replacement that minimizes pad wear. The socket's design coupled with a bandwidth of >6 GHz at -1dB and resistance of 100 mOhms delivers accurate repeatability and longer insertion life (6 times that of low performance burn-in sockets).
